In 1981 Apostle Dr. William P. Hohman was given a vision by God of a World-wide Ministry from a rural setting. In 1986, he came to Merrill, Wisconsin from Michigan to street evangelize. Within three months, 28 people gave their lives to Jesus Christ and they were meeting weekly, thus establishing the New Testament Church.
In order to reach out into the community and help meet the needs of the people, His Hands Extended Food Bank, was established.
NTC Bible College started with a four-year undergraduate curriculum; also, Abundant Life Bibles, books, and gifts was established in order to accommodate the needs of the college and the community.
The New Testament Church Christian Academy (kindergarten through 12th grade) started with the purpose of raising up Christian leaders.
Golden Vision Ministry, and elderly caring and sharing program was developed to meet the needs of the senior citizens.
New Beginnings Christian Childcare was started, launched into a center, which established other childcare facilities around the country.
Bethel Educational Institutions, Inc. was founded as a school system, to establish new schools and give covering to schools and home schools across the USA. Also The New Testament Church Christian Academy (NTCCA) expanded, creating a three and four year old preschool.
NTC Publications was launched to publish books, tracks, and college course material.
New Beginnings Christian Childcare (NBCCC) founded a before and after school program as well as a summer program for school-age children.
Hands Extended Community Development Corp. was founded to establish “think tanks” and bring community growth and development to the rural communities of the United States.
